Bidvest Wits midfielder Sibusiso Vilakazi has played down reports linking him with a move to Mamelodi Sundowns or Kaizer Chiefs.
The 26-year-old has recently been link to two big name PSL clubs, while one club from Europe also shows interest in the midfielder, according to reports.
This week Vilakazi returned from international duty after featuring during Bafana Bafana’s 4-0 victory over Gambia in the Afcon qualifiers and insisted that he still remains a Wits player.
‘I am still a Bidvest Wits player,’ Vilakazi told KickOff.
‘I have just arrived back yesterday. Maybe I will hear something during the week, but at the moment I have not been told anything and not been approached for any move,’ the midfielder added.
According to reports, Amakhosi have had a multi-million rand offer for the Wits midfielder turned down.
Serbian side Partizan Belgrade have reportedly offered €300 000 (around R5.2-million) for Vilakazi, while recent reports seemed to suggest that Sundowns lead the race for the midfielder’s signature.
The Bafana Bafana midfielder has had an impressive season for Wits in which he scored seven goals and assisted a further three from just 25 Absa Premiership appearances.
