Stellenbosch FC climbed to third place in the Betway Premiership standings after their 2-0 victory over Chippa United at the Nelson Mandela Bay Stadium on Wednesday evening.
The Maroons opened the scoring in the 31st minute thanks to a goal from Ashley Cupido before Devon Titus put the game to bed with a 43rd minute winner in Gqeberha.
The win takes Stellies up to third place in the Betway Premiership standings with seven points from their first four matches.
Meanwhile, the defeat leaves the Chilli Boys in sixth place on the table with seven points from their first five matches.
Stellies will look to continue their winning form when they take on Richards Bay at the King Zwelithini Stadium on Saturday afternoon.
