Stellenbosch FC coach Steve Barker has provided an update on striker Lehlohonolo Mojela’s injury.
The 29-year-old has been out of action due to injury and last featured for Stellies in their defeat to Orlando Pirates in the MTN8 final on October 5.
The striker has also missed the club’s last three matches against AmaZulu, Chippa United and Richards Bay, respectively.
Barker has since confirmed the striker is likely to return to training next week as he recovers from a knee injury.
“He will likely start training in the next week or so,” Barker told his club’s official website.
“Initially the prognosis was worse, but after a follow-up, he will most likely start integrating back into training next week.”
“With Mojela out, and Andre de Jong and Athenkosi Mcaba not available for the game – all players who have done really well this season – we missed them, but hopefully Bradley can get back to being available as soon as possible.”
