Orlando Pirates have confirmed they will be without the services of right back Deano van Rooyen when they take on Richards Bay on Tuesday evening.

The Buccaneers are set to welcome Richards Bay to the Orlando Stadium when the two sides meet in the Betway Premiership on Tuesday evening.

The 27-year-old lasted 28 minutes before he was taken off and replaced by Paseka Mako in their 2-1 victory over AmaZulu at the Orlando Stadium this past weekend.

Jose Riveiro’s side will now be without the right back for their upcoming Betway Premiership clash on Tuesday.

Orlando Pirates statement:

Striker Yanela Mbuthuma is not available for selection as he sits out the second game of his two-match ban after picking up a red card in the league defeat against Sekhukhune United.

He is one of two players suspended for the clash after midfielder Langelihle Mhlongo also received his marching orders over the weekend.

There are no suspension worries for the Buccaneers ahead of the clash. However, new signing Deano van Rooyen could miss out once more as he continues his recovery after picking up an injury against AmaZulu at Orlando Stadium
