AmaZulu co-coach Vusimuzi Vilakazi believes it will take a bit of time for his side to rediscover their form and become consistent.

Usuthu had a slow start to the campaign, having won just one game on five Betway Premiership matches so far this season.

The Dubran did not have any luck in the Carling Knockout Cup after they were eliminated in the first round by Stellenbosch FC.

However, Vilakazi is confident their season will turn around after they secured their first victory of the campaign when they beat Chippa United in their previous match.

“We can be worried, yes, but I don’t think we need to panic at this stage in time considering the fact that before the game that we played in the Carling Knockout Cup, we only had 10 days with the team with coach Arthur,” Vilakazi told his club’s official website.

“So I think it is still a work in progress. It is just unfortunate that while that work is in progress, we are suffering in terms of getting that win, but we strongly believe that there are a lot of positives we can take going forward into our game. We just need to align a few areas, especially our defence structure.”
