Orlando Pirates winger Mohau Nkota says it was a dream come true to play for the Buccaneers in such an important fixture in the CAF Champions League.
Nkota was promoted to the senior team this season and made his debut in their 1-0 win over Richards Bay on September 29.
The Kimberley-born winger has since made scored four goals in 11 appearances across all competitions.
The 20-year-old went on to make his debut in the CAF Champions League on Tuesday evening and put on an impressive performance after scoring a brace to lead Pirates to victory over CR Belouizdad.
“It’s hard to put into words what this means to me,” Nkota said after the game.
“To score twice in such an important match is a dream come true. I’m just so grateful for everyone who believed in me and for this incredible club.”
Nkota will be hoping to feature again when the Buccaneers welcome Stellenbosch FC to the Orlando Stadium in the Betway Premiership on Sunday, with kick-off set for 15:30pm.
