New AmaZulu signing Bongani Zungu wants to bring a “winning mentality” to the club as he looks to help Usuthu win silverware.
The Gauteng-born midfielder joined the club as a free agent after signing for the Durban club on a permanent deal.
Zungu has vast experience playing for Dynamos FC, University of Pretoria, Mamelodi Sundowns, Vitória Guimarães SC, Amiens SC, and Rangers.
The 32-year-old has scored 15 goals and registered 12 assists in 278 appearances in all competitions.
“Everywhere I’ve played, I’ve managed to win trophies, and I want to bring that same winning mentality here. I know what it takes to win, and that’s my aim,” Zungu told his club’s official website.
“I’ve watched AmaZulu’s games, and the team plays the modern game.
“My understanding of the game will help the team, but I know I have to work hard to earn my place.”
