MI Cape Town all-rounder Corbin Bosch praised his teammates after securing their place in the SA20 playoffs.

The club secured their place in the playoffs following their 10-wicket victory over the Sunrisers Eastern Cape at Newlands Cricket Ground on Wednesday.

The victory takes MI Cape Town up to second place in the league table with 26 points from eight matches, having won five and conceded two defeats.

The Cape Town side will now turn their attention to their upcoming clash against the Pretoria Capitals at the SuperSport Park Cricket Stadium on Friday evening.

The in-form Bosch has since commented on the team’s recent success and securing their spot in the playoffs for the first time.

“We have gelled very well together and it’s helped that a lot of a players have been in form throughout the competition,” Bosch told his club’s official website.

“It is someone else putting up their hand. The guys at the top have batted beautifully and that on the batting front has helped set up games.

“As a bowling group, we have taken wickets at crucial times which has allowed us to be in winning positions.”
