Orlando Pirates goalkeeper Sipho Chaine was delighted to have kept another clean sheet in the Betway Premiership, especially against arch-rivals Kaizer Chiefs.

Chaine kept a clean sheet as his side went on to secure a narrow 1-0 victory over Amakhosi thanks to a stoppage-time winner by Patrick Maswangany at the FNB Stadium on Saturday.

The Buccaneers have now moved within six points of log leaders Mamelodi Sundowns with 30 points from 12 matches.

The 28-year-old has now extended his clean sheet tally in the Betway Premiership to seven from 12 matches.

“I think it’s very special for us to get the result today, as I said earlier on this was an important one because it’s tough,” Chaine said.

“It’s very tough coming here even if they (Kaizer Chiefs) don’t play well, they always find another game, another derby.

“It wasn’t easy for us as you saw but I’m very happy for the team, I’m just very happy to get another clean sheet.”
