TS Galaxy coach Adnan Beganovic was proud of his players after they defeated Mamelodi Sundowns to extend their unbeaten run in the Betway Premiership.
The Rockets continued their unbeaten run in the league following their 1-0 win over the Brazilians at the Mbombela Stadium on Tuesday.
The win sees Galaxy remain in fourth place on the table with 25 points from 17 games, having won six games, drawn seven and conceded four defeats in the league.
The Rockets will be looking for another victory when they take on Durban City in the Nedbank Cup at the Chatsworth Stadium on Friday evening.
“The feeling is beautiful, winning against Sundowns, you can’t say everyday you’ve won against Sundowns, so many good players,” Beganovic told SuperSport TV after the game.
“But I’m so proud of my team, how we played tactically and how we played games in February, how we look physically. I’m so proud, all credit to the players.
“We need to enjoy because what we did in the last three months is unbelievable. I’m so happy, I don’t know what to say.”
