Kaizer Chiefs coach Nasreddine Nabi felt his side should have at least earned a point against Mamelodi Sundowns.
The Glamour Boys suffered their eighth defeat in the Betway Premiership following their 1-0 loss to Sundowns at the Lucas Moripe Stadium on Saturday.
The defeat sees Amakhosi drop down to eighth place on the table with 25 points from 19 matches.
Sundowns, meanwhile, stretched their lead at the top of the log and currently sit on 54 points after 20 matches played so far this season.
Nabi admits he is disappointed with the result but has urged his side to bounce back and brace for the next fixture.
“It’s true that it’s a game that’s going to live with some regrets because we feel that we had done enough to create some problems for the opponent,” Nabi told SABC Sport after the game.
“Created opportunities, we even had more control of the game in the second half, but you know it’s football and, in the end, you have to score and we believe that we deserved even a tie given the performance that we had.
“But this is football and we know that we have lost the points today. We have to go back and push ourselves and encourage our players for the next game.”
