Kaizer Chiefs coach Nasreddine Nabi admits his side were not mentally ready for their clash against Chippa United.
The Glamour Boys were forced to settle for a point after they played to a goalless draw against the Chilli Boys at the Nelson Mandela Bay Stadium on Saturday.
The draw saw Amakhosi remain in eighth position with 31 from 25 matches, while Chippa are one point behind them in ninth place in the Betway Premiership standings.
Amakhosi will look to bounce back and return to winning ways when they take on Marumo Gallants at the FNB Stadium on Saturday, April 25.
“I think it was a very tough game, but to be honest with you we don’t deserve to win this game,” Nabi told SuperSport TV after the game.
“To win this game, you must be ready for every challenge, you must be number one for the ball. I think mentally we were not ready for this game. Like, I said to you to win this game you must be more than 100 percent ready to fight.
“Even if we score the chances we get, we don’t deserve to win this game.
“With this spirit today, if I win it’s not correct, I need another mentality. I think today the team was out today of the normal performance,” he added.
