Cheslyn Jampies has admitted he is humbled by reported interest in his services from the likes of Kaizer Chiefs and Orlando Pirates.
The Jomo Cosmos left back, whose contract is due to expire of the month, has also sparked the interest of Bloemfontein Celtic.
‘For a boy coming from Belhar in Cape Town this is really a big deal for me,’ Jampies told KickOff.
‘I’m very humbled and overwhelmed by the interest from the big Soweto giants like Chiefs and Pirates. At this stage I’m unsure where I’ll put pen to paper as I have to get confirmation from my agent.
The player has admitted he has had a difficult time in recent seasons.
‘Needless to say I had a difficult time at Santos but I kept on plugging away. So the hard work I’ve put in didn’t go unnoticed and this really humbles me.’
Jampies managed 22 league starts for Ezenkosi this term having joined the side from Santos in the off season. The player was recently called into the Bafana Bafana squad for the side’s back-to-back Afcon qualifiers with Cameroon, but failed to make his debut.
