Mbabane Swallows star Felix Badenhorst says a prospective move to Kaizer Chiefs would be nothing short of a dream come true.
The 27-year-old attacking midfielder has reportedly attracted interest from Naturena, and current manager Victor Gamedze has admitteed he would not stand in the player’s way should an offer from the Amakhosi be forthcoming, reports KickOff.
As of yet, however, no concrete offer has been made.
‘I saw those Chiefs rumours in the media. It gave me hope that maybe something would come up and that made me work even harder. Chiefs is a big team and we all dream of playing there,’ Badenhorst admitted.
The player, who trained with Premiership champions Mamelodi Sundowns back in December, said he spoke with PSL Footballer of the Season Khama Billiat while on the trial.
‘Khama told me that you must never give up and that you should give your all whenever given the opportunity. The trial was a good learning experience, even though things didn’t work out.’
Badenhorst is a former Jomo Cosmos player, but made the move to represent Swaziland side Mbabane Swallows back in 2012.
The player has represented Swaziland three times at senior level, scoring three times.
