Germany and Poland played out to a goalless draw in Euro 2016 action, with Jerome Boateng producing a man-of-the-match performance in Paris.

Although the match ended goalless, Boateng’s defencive performance against Poland helped his national team keep a clean sheet to remain at the top of Group C going into their third fixture against Northern Ireland.

According to SASoccermag’s Opta-powered match centre, Boateng completed a total of 82 touches, while winning three out of five duels.

Meanwhile, defensively the German defender has made one interception, conceding two fouls and won two out of two tackles to help Germany avoid Poland from getting through on goal.

In Paris, Boateng managed to complete a total of 59 out of 69 passes, with 50.7% coming from directly down the middle, while 31.9% of them coming down the left.

Though the sides eventually shared the spoils, the stats showed Germany continued to have the best of the possession (69.2%) at the final whistle, as wells as racking up a total of 612 as opposed to 217.

The draw leaves Germany at the top of Group C level on four points with Poland, who trail by goal difference.
