Orlando Pirates are on the verge of completing the signing of Thamsanqa Mkhize on a three-year deal.
The 27-year-old has recently parted ways with Maritzburg United after financial terms could not be agreed.
According to a KickOff.com sources, the defender is expected to sign a three-year contract with the Soweto giants.
‘The player has agreed personal terms with Pirates and is expected to sign on dotted line anytime soon,’ the source said.
The Sea Robbers has already completed the signing of midfielder Donald Mokondolela from Baroka FC.
The former Golden Arrows defender made 17 Absa Premiership appearances for the Team of Choice last season scoring one goal as his side narrowly avoided relegation after ending the season in 14th place.
