Orlando Pirates has completed the signing of former Maritzburg United defender Thamsanqa Mkhize.
The 27-year-old has signed a three-year contract with the Buccaneers after completing his medical.
Mkhize has recently parted ways with Maritzburg United after financial terms could not be agreed.
The defender will now link up with his new teammate for their pre-season training alongside new signing midfielder Donald Mokondolela.
‘Both Mkhize and Mokondelela have signed. The club will release the list of players signed and released by tomorrow,’ an official at Pirates told KickOff.com.
The former Golden Arrows defender made 17 Absa Premiership appearances for the Team of Choice last season scoring one goal as his side narrowly avoided relegation after ending the season in 14th place.
