The South African National U20 team can seal a place in the Caf u20 Afcon competition to be held in Zambia in 2017 with results in their next two matches.
The competition also acts as a stepping stone towards the U20 World Cup, where the four best-placed sides at Afcon will progress to the showpiece event, which will be hosted in Korea next term.
Amajita has been preparing for the match at a training camp.
‘We started the camp with low levels of fitness but we believe we have had effective training sessions with the boys throughout the week,’ coach Thabo Senong told Safa.net.
Amajita will have to fight past neighbours Lesotho in their next round of qualifying.
‘They are the ones who will have to push harder than us. We intend on ensuring that we get the much needed away goal, and hopefully even win the match so that we are comfortable in the return leg,’ the coach said.
‘The players we have at our disposal are great at attacking; they are untouchable when they are in possession however, we have to be careful when defending as this could alter our game plan,’ Senong added.
The game will be played at Setsoto Stadium, Maseru.
Kickoff is at 15:00.
