Tottenham Hotspur have confirmed the signing of Dutch striker Vincent Janssen.
The Dutch international has signed a four-year deal with Tottenham Hotspur, the club confirmed on Tuesday.
The 22-year-old was the top scorer in the Eredivisie last season with 27 league goals in his one and only season with AZ Alkmaar.
Janssen made his senior debut with Almere City in the second tier of Dutch football, scoring 32 goals in 74 appearances during a two-year spell, before sealing a move to AZ last summer.
He was awarded the 2016 Johan Cruyff Trophy, awarded to the Eredivisie’s young player of the year, which has previously been won by two players who have played for Spurs in Rafael van der Vaart and Christian Eriksen.
Janssen made his Netherlands debut earlier this year and has five full caps to his name along with three goals, including one against England in a 2-1 win at Wembley in March.
