Orlando Pirates have recalled goalkeeper Philani Zikalala from Golden Arrows after spending a season-long loan at Abafana Bes’thende.
Zikalala has seemingly been brought back to Mayfair in light of Siyabonga Mpontshane’s expected departure to Highlands Park, reports KickOff.com
A source close to Zikalala revealed that the shot-stopper has back at training with the team ahead of the new season.
‘Zikalala is around and training with the team.’ the source said.
The Soweto giants are yet to decide on the future of goalkeeper Felipe Ovono, who has struggled for game time behind first-choice Brighton Mhlongo.
The Buccaneers has already captured the services of Ghanaian midfielder Bernard Morrison from AS Vita.
