Barcelona has reached an agreement with Paris Saint-Germain to sign French defender Lucas Digne on a five-year contract.
Barca has paid an initial €16.5-million with another four possible according to individual and team results. Digne’s buy-out clause is €60-million, reports the Barcelona website.
The 22-year-old was signed by PSG in 2013 from Lille, enjoying a three-year stint at the French champions.
Digne spent the whole of last season on loan at Italian side Roma, featuring in 42 appearances for the club while netting three goals and three assists in all competitions.
Over the course of his career, the defender has played a total of 148 matches for Lille, PSG, and Roma, scoring six goals and recording 13 assists. He has won two French Championship titles and a Ligue 1 title with PSG.
The French international will arrive in Barcelona on Thursday to undergo a medical and sign his contract with the Spanish giants.
