Although Ajax Cape Town recently sold the likes of Anssi Jaakkola to Reading in England, the Urban Warriors are still over their limit of five-foreigner players on the books.
The clubs’ assistant coach Mich D’Avray has revealed the side remain undecided on who they will register for next term.
Rumours are circulating that Zimbabwean international Milton Ncube has already been released but the reports are yet to be confirmed by the club.
‘No there’s a thought process with regards to one of the foreigners that we are going to try out during the preseason training games,’ D’Avray told Goal.
‘We have the games and if you there you will be able to see what I mean, so there’s no final decision final five yet.
Meanwhile, the coach has hinted a further international may yet arrive at the club.
‘Ideally in an ideal world, I am for the opinion that if you can keep one spot open, that’s good,’ he continued.
‘So if there is a need to strengthen during the January transfer window, you can do that. But I don’t think that we are going to be in that situation this season and we have got a bit of time to decide still,’ he concluded.
