Chippa United have agreed a deal with Nigerian star James Okwuosa after the player had initially turned down a new deal at the club.
Okwuosa had looked poised to sign with Orlando Pirates having reported signed a pre-contract agreement with the club, but the deal fell through at the last minute, resulting in a hasty return to Port Elizabeth.
Chippa announced the signing on their official Twitter account on Friday.

In addition, the club revealed the capture of defender Bongani Kama in a year-long deal with the option of a further year extension. The player arrived from National First Division side Mthata Bucks.
We can confirm the signing of Uitenhage-born former Bush Bucks defender, Bongani Kama on a one year deal with an option to renew for a year.
‘We are fairly done [in the transfer window] unless something extra ordinary happens,’ Zibeko told KickOff.
‘Dan is happy with the team that he has assembled and as the management we are fairly comfortable. Now we want to grow not just on the playing aspect only but we want to grow as a brand as well,’ he concluded.
