Barca renew youngsters

Young Barcelona starlets Sergi Samper and Munir El Haddadi have agreed new contracts at the club which will keep them in Catalonia until 2019. 

Barcelone announced the new deals for the pairing on Tuesday, with Samper extending his contract from 2017 to 2019, while he will also be afforded the chance to extend that deal by a further year. The player’s release clause has been set at €50-million.

Meanwhile, Munir has also agreed to extend his contract by a further two years until 2019. The attacker’s release clause will sit at €60-million.

Samper made his full debut for Barcelona’s first team side back in 2014 as Barcelona overcame Apoel 1-0 in the Champions League. In all he has made 11 appearances for the side thus far, but at only 21-years of age, will have chances to prove himself.

 Munir opted to join Barcelona’s youth academy back in 2o11 before making a scoring debut with the senior team in 2014. The young forward managed eight goals in 26 appearances across all competitions last term.
