Kudakwashe Mahachi looks poised to rejoin Mamelodi Sundowns for a second stint at the club despite having been linked with a move to Kaizer Chiefs.

Mahachi struggled to get minutes in his previous time at downs having joined from Zimbabwean outfit Highlanders FC in 2014.

A move to Golden Arrows followed, but having parted ways from the club as a free agent, the player looks set to rejoin his former club.

The Glamour Boys had allegedly also shown interest in his signature but that interest is likely to have dissipated given the player’s return to the Brazilians.

Sundowns boss Pitso Mosimane and his technical team will reportedly make a decision regarding Mahachi in the coming weeks as they set their plans for the 2016-17 season in motion.

The 22-year-old made 22 appearances in the Premiership last term.
