Newly signed Arsenal defender Rob Holding says Calum Chambers can help him settle at the club following his move from Bolton Wanderers.
The 20-year-old joined the Gunners on a long-term deal from the Trotters having turned out some impressive displays for the Championship side last term.
The pair were teammates for England U21’s victory in the Toulon Tournament this summer, and Holding says Chambers’ previous experience can help him adjust to life away from Bolton, reports the Arsenal website.
‘He came over [when I signed] and asked me how my summer holiday was,’ Holding said.
‘It makes it much easier settling in, knowing someone like that who is young like me and knows the feeling of moving away from home and getting settled at Arsenal. Hopefully, he can help me out.’
Over the course of his Bolton career, Holding netted four goals and assisted one from 56 appearances in all competitions for the Trotters.
