Didier Drogba managed to keep his incredible scoring record against Arsenal but it was the English giants who grabbed the win.
Drogba scored his 16th goal against Arsenal after Joel Campbell had opened the scoring before Chuba Akpom grabbed the winner against the best of the MLS.
‘For me it’s for fun because I scored against Petr [Cech], but the result matters more than my goal or my own performance. It’s a bit disappointing to have lost this game in the last minute.’ said Drogba after the match.
On Sunday, Arsenal face Chivas in California. The Gunners begin their 2016-17 league campaign on August 14 at home against Liverpool.
