Kaizer Chiefs have expressed no interest in signing any of the players from arch-rivals Orlando Pirates.
The Buccaneers have named the likes of Sifiso Myeni and Lehlohonolo Majoro among their players deemed surplus to requirements, while a contingent of Chiefs fans are urging the club to sign the pair, reports Goal.
A source within the club has no denied a move for either star is forthcoming, however.
‘That’s what some fans would like to see happen, but there are no plans to sign either Myeni or Majoro for next season,’ the source explained.
Majoro was previously on the books of the Glamour Boys back in 2013 but quit the club to join their rivals when he was denied sufficient game time by then manager Stuart Baxter.
Meanwhile, Chiefs coach Steve Komphela is believed to still be chasing the addition of a defensive signing. With the club having parted with likes of Morgan Gould, Ivan Bukenya and Siboniso Gaxa, the Amakhosi are presently short of sufficient cover.
