The 23-year-old had been on trial with the Urban Warriors last season and was again invited by coach Roger de Sa for another look in the last few weeks, reports KickOff.com.

Ajax assistant coach Mich d’ Avray believes Molete will be a great addition to the Urban Warriors and has the ability to add value to the Cape side.

‘Although he is still untried and untested, he’s a good size and has the speed. He can slot in at the left-back position but he obviously has to has to learn a lot,’ d’Avray said.

‘That said he has the ability and potential to be good player and to add value.’

The left back is yet to make his professional debut in the Absa Premiership and will be rearing to go when Ajax get their 2016-17 season underway on August 23.

The Urban Warriors face a trip to newly-promoted Baroka FC with the match set to kick-off at 19:30.
