Polokwane City striker Thobani Mncwango says he is confident his side will win their opening Absa Premiership match against Cape Town City on Tuesday.
Rise and Shine are set to open their 2016-17 season with an away game at Cape Town Stadium where they will be taking on PSL newly formed team, reports the Polokwane City website.
The 28-year-old striker says he is more than confident that his side will claim all three points in the Mother City.
‘I am 100% sure that we will collect maximum points away from home because we had a very good pre-season,’ Mncwango said.
After finishing second in the Absa Premiership goalscoring charts last season, Mncwango insists that he will continue that form into the new season.
‘I’ll definitely continue where I left off last season and thanks to those that have been with me in the former season,’ he added.
Mncwango featured 31 times for Polokwane and went on to score 13 goals in all competitions last season.
Kick-off has been set for 19:30.
