Mamelodi Sundowns will take on Group A runners-up Zesco United in the Caf Champions League semi-finals, while Wydad Casablanca will play Zamalek.
CAF Champions League semifinal opponents have been confirmed, after Zesco United were held to a 1-1 draw by Wydad Casablanca in their final Group A fixture.
The semi-finals fixtures were confirmed after Zesco were held to a 1-1 draw by Wydad at the Levy Mwanawasa Stadium on Wednesday.
Zesco took the side through Owino Odhiambo but Chisom Chikatara levelled matters shortly after the half-time break.
Both teams had already secured their passage to the semifinals before the game had kicked off, it was a straight shootout for who would advance as group winners, according to the Mamelodi Sundowns website.
In the end, the Moroccans did enough to secure top spot and will as a result face Zamalek in the semi-finals. Zesco will lock horns with fellow Southern Africans Mamelodi Sundowns for a place in the final.
Meanwhile, Zesco will go head-to-head against Mamelodi Sundowns for a place in the final.
The first leg of the semi-finals will take place on September 17.
