Ajax Cape Town duo Rivaldo Coetzee and Prince Nxumalo have been declared fit ahead of their Absa Premiership match against Orlando Pirates on Tuesday.

The Urban Warriors played to a 2-1 victory in a training match against National First Division side Milano United at Chukker Road on Tuesday.

Goals from Toriq Losper and Bantu Mzwakali secured the victory, while Mark Mayambela and Lebohang Mokoena played their first training match as Ajax players.

Rivaldo Coetzee and Prince Nxumalo both featured in the training match against Milano and were able to train at least twice, after the duo were unable to fulfil their national team duties with their respective injuries, reports the Ajax Cape Town website.

Jantho Greyling, head of medical at the Urban Warriors, confirmed their availability.

‘Rivaldo has been out for about a week or so with chicken pox, but he has been back in training since yesterday (Monday). Rivaldo also participated in our training match today (Tuesday), he hasn’t had any problems since returning to training he’s fit and ready for our next game,’ Greyling said.

‘Prince started training on Monday as well and played about 20 minutes of our training match today. His hamstring injury is now something of the past. He should also be fit and ready to go in our next league match.’ concluded Greyling.

Kick-off has been set for 19:30.
