The fourth round of the EFL Cup is set to thrill as Manchester United host Manchester in just one of several all-Premier League ties.
United did enough to oust League One Northampton 3-1 on Wednesday while Manchester City beat Swansea 2-1 in Wales to move into the next round and set up a second Manchester derby for the season.
The fourth round will also feature a London derby as Chelsea, who need extra time to beat Leicester, travel to face West Ham, who in turn needed an injury time free kick from Dimitri Payet to edge past League Two opponents Accrington Stanley, while another London club will host Liverpool as they travel to face Spurs.
Arsenal have what appears to be an ‘easy’ tie at home to Reading.
The matches will be played on the week of October 24.
Fourth round draw:
West Ham v Chelsea
Man United v Man City
Arsenal v Reading
Liverpool v Tottenham
Bristol City v Hull
Leeds v Norwich
Newcastle v Preston
Southampton v Sunderland
