Mamelodi Sundowns have confirmed the appointment of Shawn Bishop as club’s new head coach of the ABC Motsepe team.

The Brazilians head of academy has been appointed as the new head coach of M Tigers FC in the ABC Motsepe League for this season.

Bishop has been involved in a number of productions through the youth set-up of Sundowns and has also mentored a number of quality players, including Percy Tau and Motjeka Madisha, according to SoccerLaduma.

The 42-year-old is currently working under South African U17 head coach Molefi Ntsekipart as the assistant coach.

However, Bishop will continue on with his involved with Sundowns’ youth academy and his position as South Africa’s U17 assistant coach.
