Khama Billiat and Keagan Dolly are among five Mamelodi Sundowns players nominated on a 30-man list for the Confederation of African Football annual awards this season.
The list was announced in a post by the continental body on Saturday, according to the Mamelodi Sundowns website.
Khama Billiat tops the list of Sundowns nominees, which also includes the likes of Keagan Dolly, Denis Onyango, Hlompho Kekana and Yannick Zakri.
Meanwhile, Kaizer Chiefs goalkeeper Itumeleng Khune was the only other player from South Africa to be nominated in this category for his efforts for Amakhosi and Bafana Bafana, where he kept six clean sheets from 21 appearances in all competitions.
The players were nominated for the 2016 African Player of the Year based in Africa award.
However, Dolly, Billiat and Onyango were also nominated for the main award on a list which includes Riyad Mahrez, Pierre-Emerick Aubameyang, John Obi Mikel, Samuel Eto, Andrew Ayew and Mohammed Salah.
The winners of the annual awards will be announced on 5 January 2017, according to Confederation of African Football.
