Manchester United right back Antonio Valencia has vowed to come back stronger after undergoing surgery on his fractured arm on Saturday.
The 31-year-old fractured his arm during the EFL Cup win over Manchester City and had to miss out on United’s Premier League clash with Burnley on Saturday.
The Ecuadorian international remained positive following his injury and has posted a video on Instagram with a message of assurance on his recovery.
‘Now thinking only of recovery,’ Valencia said on Instagram.
‘I want to come back soon and help my team. I’ll come back stronger and always optimistic.’
Manchester United will next take on Swansea City in the Premier League at the Liberty Stadium on Sunday, with kick-off set for 17:00.
