SuperSport United coach Stuart Baxter wants his team to remain humble as they prepare to face Mamelodi Sundowns in the Telkom Knockout quarter-finals on Saturday.

SuperSport are flying high in second on the PSL table after four wins on the trot and enter the match following a 6-1 win over Orlando Pirates in midweek action.

‘Sometimes we should speak about the last game because it was a good game,’ Baxter said at a press conference.

‘Staying humbled and focused is the key for us. We had a big win on Tuesday but we have to keep our feet on the ground.

‘I don’t think we compromise games and say “This one is more important”. We field players good enough to win games.’

Cole Alexander, Grant Kekana, Tefu Mashamaite and Lyle Lakay have been ruled out of the Tshwane derby, further complicating his preparations for the clash with the defending champions.

Unbeaten in eight games in all competitions, Matsatsantsa welcome Sundowns to the Lucas Moripe Stadium on Saturday.

The match kicks off  at 18:00.
