Arsenal playmaker Mesut Ozil believes his side has the quality to defeat Manchester United when they meet at Old Trafford on Saturday.
The 28-year-old has been the standout performer for the Gunners this season with seven goals and four assists from 14 appearances in all competitions.
The German international maintains the approach to their clash with Manchester United should mirror that in their 3-0 defeat of Chelsea in September.
‘[We need to] win every game, get as many points as possible and also be successful against the big teams like we were against Chelsea,’ Ozil told the Arsenal website.
‘We have the quality to beat any team and that’s what we want to show this season.’
Ozil says they have to keep getting positive results to close in on Liverpool at the top of the Premier League table.
‘You can see that the big clubs at the top have quality and that we have to win every game because of how tight it is at the top.
‘Our goal has to be to look at ourselves. If we win the games, we’ll be at the top at the end.’
The match at Old Trafford kicks off at 14:30.
