Mamelodi Sundowns captain Hlompho Kekana’s wonder goal against Cameroon has been nominated for the Fifa Puskas Award this season.
Kekana’s goal:
The 30-year-old has been nominated alongside the likes of Neymar and Lionel Messi for the best goal scored between 30 September 2015 and 30 September 2016.
The Sundowns midfielder netted a screamer against Cameroon during their Africa Cup of Nations qualifier in Yaounde.
In the match, Kekana won the ball from Cameroon midfielder Tony Tchani and hit a powerful, gliding strike over goalkeeper Ndy Assembe.
You can vote for Kekana’s goal for it to make it amongst the final three nominees, with the winner then being crowned at the Fifa gala held in January 2017, on FIFA.com.
