Ajax Cape Town head of medical Jantho Greyling has announced that Mosa Lebusa, Lebohang Mokoena and Bantu Mzwakali will be fully fit for their next match against Mamelodi Sundowns on Wednesday.
The Urban Warriors recently recorded their first win of the season with their 3-2 victory over Platinum Stars in the Absa Premiership on Tuesday.
Nathan Paulse has been declared fit to play, after fracturing his face and being on the bench during Tuesday’s victory with a carbon fibre mask.
Mosa Lebusa is still recovering from a pectineus muscle strain during their clash with Maritzburg. He is progressing well and should be back for the Absa Premiership match against Mamelodi Sundowns on Wednesday.
Meanwhile, Rivaldo Coetzee is still in discomfort after an ATFL injury while playing for Bafana Bafana, but the defender is set to return to training on Thursday after undergoing an MRI scan.
Lebohang Mokoena has started doing light training sessions after a severe knock to his lower leg during a friendly game against Stellenbosch, and should be back for the Sundowns game.
‘Toriq Losper is still on the road to recovery and looking good after the meniscal injury to his knee. If all goes well he will be back at the end of season, if we are lucky, but we not pushing it. We have ruled him out of the season basically,’ Greyling told the Ajax Cape Town website.
‘Bantu Mzwakali suffered a slight knee injury against Platinum Stars on Wednesday, but he is likely return for their next Absa Premiership clash on Wednesday.’
Ajax Cape Town take on Mamelodi Sundowns in the Absa Premiership at Cape Town Stadium, kick-off at 19:30.
