Chippa United captain James Okwuosa’s side are intent on improving their performance ahead of their Absa Premiership clash with Kaizer Chiefs on Saturday.
The 32-year-old, with a total of 12 appearances in all competitions so far this season, said they will be hunting maximum points in their Absa Premiership matches.
‘We have been trying to improve on each and every game we play. The spirit in the group remains high. The league is a marathon but we also understand that we need to start collecting points, especially at home,’ Okwuosa said.
‘We have set clear objectives of where want to be in May and we need to start winning games, no doubt about that. We must pick up the positives from our previous games including Maritzburg United.
‘We would like to see the supporters coming once again in their numbers to rally behind the lads.’
Chippa United will welcome Kaizer Chiefs to the Nelson Mandela Bay Stadium in the Absa Premiership on Saturday.
Kick-off has been set for 18:00.
