Chelsea manager Antonio Conte believes his side showed great character with their 3-1 victory over Manchester City at the Etihad Stadium in the Premier League on Saturday.
The Blues now have eight consecutive wins in the Premier League following goals by Diego Costa, Willian and Eden Hazard against Pep Guardiola’s side.
The Italian manager would like the Blues to continue their current form.
‘It’s a big win and a big result against a really strong team,’ Conte told the Chelsea website.
‘With the quality of players in their squad, I think it’s the most complete in this league. For this reason, I am pleased with the result, and with the players. They showed me great character.
‘It’s fantastic this, because I repeat, it’s not easy to come here and win this game. Now we have to continue.’
Chelsea take on West Bromwich Albion in the Premier League on Sunday.
The match at Stamford Bridge kicks off at 14:00.
