Leicester City midfielder Marc Albrighton has urged his side to become much harder in order to defeat Manchester City in the Premier League on Saturday.
The Foxes recently fell to a 5-0 defeat at the hands of Porto in their final Champions League group stage match on Wednesday evening.
The 27-year-old says he is well aware of the threat his next opponents possesses but he insists that his side will put up a good fight to collect all three points, in the hopes of turning around their domestic form.
‘I think the result against Man City is obviously the main thing. We’re in a position now where we need points and the result is massive,’ Albrighton told the Leicester City website.
‘We need to show a reaction with a good performance by fighting all over the pitch. We need to get that hunger back and make a statement to people to show that we care. We need to put it right.
‘We need to get in their faces and be organised. We need to be harder to beat and harder to break down because it’s too easy at the moment.’
Leicester against Manchester City kicks off at 19:30.
