Bidvest Wits left back Sifiso Hlanti has expressed his delight at returning to the squad following his two-match suspension after receiving a red card last month.
The 26-year-old recently received a red card during his side’s 2-2 with Highlands Park last month but has now returned to the squad following his suspension.
The Bafana Bafana left back says he is delighted to be back in the squad and is relishing the chance to make his way back into the starting lineup.
‘Obviously I’m happy to be back,’ Hlanti told KickOff.com.
‘But at the very same time those that filled in my position were doing well. So it’s up to the coach Gavin Hunt [who will play in the next game] because he is the one who is going to select the team.
‘In terms of suspension I’m happy that I’m back, and I’m looking forward to working hard.’
Bidvest Wits will now take on Golden Arrows at the Princess Magogo Stadium in the Absa Premiership on Wednesday.
Kick-off has been set for 19:30.
