Bloemfontein Celtic interim coach Lehlohonolo Seema has praised his side’s performance after holding Kaizer Chiefs to a goalless draw at the FNB Stadium on Wednesday.
The goalless encounter at the FNB Stadium was devoid of many significant chances but Seema believes his side could have come away with more than a point had they shown a little more composure in front of goal.
The interim coach went on to praise his side for keeping out Amakhosi on Wednesday but insists that his side deserved to get more than a point out of the match after creating many chances in the final third.
‘Once again I want to say congratulations to the guys,’ Seema said after the match.
‘They came to the party and they stuck to the plan. We knew there were moments where we could catch them on the break.
‘I think if we were clinical and not rushing our shots we could have got something from the first-half and even the second-half.’
Bloemfontein Celtic will now welcome Ajax Cape Town to the Dr Molemela Stadium in the Absa Premiership on Saturday.
Kick-off has been set for 18:00.
