Bloemfontein Celtic interim coach Lehlohonolo Seema says he was delighted with the result following their 2-1 victory over Orlando Pirates on Tuesday.
Celtic walked away with all three points after Lantshene Phalane cancelled out Oupa Manyisa’s 11th-minute goal before Tshepo Rikhotso scored a 93rd-minute winner at the Orlando Stadium on Tuesday.
The club’s interim coach says he is delighted by the result but insists that his side have to now ‘go back to the drawing board’ and prepare for the next Absa Premiership encounter.
‘We knew it wasn’t going to be easy, and then from there some of the players now because of the goal, all of a sudden they lose shape. Everybody wanted to go all over the place, that why I had to make changes,’ Seema said after the match.
‘But I am happy with the result. We had to go back to the drawing board, calm the guys down and then tell them to do good things. I am happy with the stuff that came in.
‘Look, as long as these guys can put the ball into the back of the net they will get something, and today they did but it wasn’t nice at all.’
When the Absa Premiership returns in the new year, Bloemfontein Celtic will take on Mamelodi Sundowns on February 8.
The match at Dr Molemela Stadium kicks off at 19:30.
