Leicester City were forced to share the spoils at the Riverside Stadium after playing out to a goalless draw with Middlesbrough in the Premier League on Monday afternoon.
The Foxes got off to a good start in the opening exchanges of the match and their first real chance of the match when Christian Fuchs dragged his effort wide of the target after latching onto a ball from Andy King.
Adama Traore had a penalty claim turned down by referee Robert Madley after he was brought down by Robert Huth before Marten de Roon fired his shot over the crossbar.
Riyaad Mahrez came close to opening the scoring after testing Brad Guzan from long-range, while at the other end Ben Gibson saw his effort saved by Foxes goalkeeper Kasper Schmeichel to keep the score goalless.
Leicester were not offering much-attacking threat with Leonardo Ulloa saw his headed effort saved by Gmuch-attacking a cross from Fuchs.
But it was Boro who created the best opportunity in the closing stages of the match when a cross for Fabio was poorly cleared by Wes Morgan and was picked up by Ramirez who guided his effort wide of the target as both sides’s shared the spoils at the Riverside Stadium.
