Manchester United midfielder Paul Pogba has challenged his team-mates to ‘finish’ their EFL Cup semi-final against Hull City at Old Trafford on Tuesday.
With a place in the cup finals up for grabs, the Tigers will travel to Manchester when they face Jose Mourinho’s side in the semi-final first leg.
The 23-year-old has urged his teammates to try and finish their semi-finals in the first leg at Old Trafford.
‘It’s a game we want to win of course,’ Pogba told the Manchester United website.
‘It’s a semi-final, we want to be in the final and we want to win that cup. If we have the chance to win any trophy we want to take it. It’s an important game for us and the second leg will be difficult so let’s try to finish the tie in the first leg.
The French midfielder says he is relishing the chance to win his first piece of silverware with the Red Devils.
‘I am a winner and when I play I want to win. Every league game, every cup game, I want to win otherwise there is no point in playing football! I want to win my first trophy with United and if we have a chance in the cup we have to take it.’
Manchester United against Hull City kicks off at 22:00.
