Manchester United cruised to a comfortable 2-0 victory over Hull City in their EFL Cup semi-final first leg at Old Trafford on Tuesday evening.

The Red Devils took the lead 11 minutes into the second half when Juan Mata tapped the ball into the back of the net from a from Henrikh Mkhitaryan headed cross.

However, United doubled their lead with three minutes remaining when Marouane Fellaini made it 2-0 after latching onto a deep cross from Matteo Darmian to head the ball into the net.
