Maritzburg United spokesman Brian Zuma has revealed that Belgian striker Andrea Fileccia is recovering from knee injury in Belgium.

The 25-year-old striker has been out of action since injuring his knee during his side’s Absa Premiership clash against Bloemfontein Celtic on September 14.

Maritzburg spokesman has confirmed that the striker is currently in Belgium rehabilitating his knee injury.

‘Fileccia is not here, he’s still in Belgium and he’s going through rehab there for his injury,’ Zuma told KickOff.com.

Since making the move to South Africa, Fileccia has scored six goals and made one assist from 15 appearances in all competitions playing for the likes of Free State Stars and Maritzburg United.
